Crack.
Crack.
She felt her skin falling off of her back.
"Don't EVER mention that Name, EVER!" the evil dictator screamed, throwing his whip aside and now digging his claws in to her back.
Her pain was great, but she did not cry. She had no more tears. After she had left The Good Shepherd and was later captured by the prince of darkness, her tears had vanished. The evil dictator's victims didn't know why she held her tears back; it was a mystery to them.
As the dictator's claws dug deeper and deeper in to her skin, she simply blinked. Sure, it was painful, but her heart felt more of the pain. She was just about to marry Him, her Good Shepherd, the Man who selflessly saved her from her mistakes. When she found one small speck of dust on her dress, she was devestated and she firmly believed that she was not worthy of Him because of that one small speck.
Then, when she least knew it, the prince of evil and sin took her as his own, and she had been imprisoned ever since.
He grabbed her hair tightly and roughly grabbed her cheeks.
"If you mention that Man's Name ever again, I will make sure that you are impaled on the highest staff," the dictator sneered, slamming her head against the hard humid cement.

Every week, there was an invitation to come back to The Good Shepherd.
An angel of the Lord came and proclaimed it to all who were imprisoned by satan.

"The Bridegroom calls you all again to return to Him. As always, it is your choice to return to Him...or not. Lucifer can not interfere, but you are open to temptation. Be careful, and please make the right choice."

The young woman was thrilled that this opprotunity had come again. She knew that many of the others who were imprisoned had stopped believing; some even believed that The Good Shepherd was not real. But she still had faith. Even though it was growing dim, she knew that The Shepherd still wanted her back.
The servants of the evil dictator threw the suits and dresses back towards the prisoners. She caught her dress and smiled. It looked divine! When she examined it even more, she found that one small speck again; that one small speck ruined her beautiful smile.
"There's no way He'll take you back. Look at that little speck! Hah! You are such a naive little screw up. There's no use in this you know. In the end, you'll just come crawling back to me...as usual."
She stared at the speck and closed her eyes tightly. Then, she threw the dress on the blood-covered ground and ran off.

It was the last day. The last day of the week to return to Jesus. More and more people were tempted; some gave in while others refused to give in to the evil dictator anymore.
She watched from afar as more and more people lined up to see The Savior. She hid and clutched her arm.
'If I don't do this...that means that I have to wait another week for another opprotunity...if I keep waiting...He may never accept me again...'
She rocked herself, thinking.
'I want to go back...I made a terrible mistake by running away...but will He accept me? Look at me now! I look terrible!'
She stood up quickly, feeling slightly dizzy.
'I'm gonna do it...I'm going back to Him!'

"Last call! Last call!"
The angels flew around, looking for those who chose to come back to Jesus. Jesus stood in their midst, tenderly hugging those who wanted to come back and cautiously looking for more who wanted to come.
"Sire, that's all," an angel said, bowing to Him.
Jesus lowered His head.
"Please Lord...next week is a new opprotunity. All of them will come back to You Sire, just watch."
Jesus smiled slightly and put His hand on the angel's shoulder.

She ran and ran, but she seemed to be farther and farther from the angels , the past prisoners, and Jesus.
"Okay, let's go," Jesus said.
She felt hopeless.
"Jesus..." she whispered.
The excited and joyful group of people followed Jesus and the angels onto the path of righteousness.
"Jesus," she said horsely.
Jesus handed them their new clean clothing; free from any stain of sin.
"Jesus..." she whispered again. Why was she afraid? What was there to be afraid of?
The people quickly flowed out of the earthly hell that they had faced and joyfully trotted behind Jesus. The light slowly started to fade.
"Jesus!" she shouted softly.
The light continued to fade.
"Jesus!!!" she shouted.
She fell to her knees and she felt a small thing roll down her cheek. She wiped it and saw that it was a tear. An actual tear!
She heard somebody's footsteps and looked up quickly to see Jesus kneeling down to her. She longed to touch Him, but she felt that she just couldn't.
"My little bride..." He whispered, holding her tightly to Himself.
She sunk in to His chest and clutched His clothes to herself. It smelled like really well done laundry. He was so very warm, His touch so gentle, His scent so...attracting.
"Jesus...I'm sorry, Jesus..." she whispered, her newly awakened tears running down her face and His clothes.
He tenderly wiped her face and lifted her chin. He shone a reassuring smile at her and she couldn't resist; she quickly hugged Him close to herself.
"I have a little surprise for you," He whispered. "Close your eyes."
She giggled and hiccuped while closing her eyes. A second later, He gently took her hands away from her eyes and she stared in astonishment; she was wearing her dress! And there was no speck of dust at all.
"Oh, Jesus!!!" She squealed excitedly, hugging Him again. "You are just...wow!!!"
Jesus smiled at her excitement. Once she calmed down, He took her hand in His.
"Come. everything is ready," He said, gently tugging her towards the opened light.
"Wait...what do You mean?" she asked.
Jesus took her other hand and chucked softly.
"Didn't you want to get married to me before all this?" He asked in a playful tone.
No matter how dirty you are, He will still take you! Even if you have a tiny speck, He will take care of it; just go to Him. He'll do the rest.

I was pretty hooked up in Cinderella the past weekend, so I'm sure God wanted to use that to His advantage!
Jesus and I love you guys!
