Adam had the voice of an angel. Whenever he sung, the people around him suddenly became enchanted and wanted to hear more of his attractive, melodic voice.
He would practice singing in a little studio that his father set up for him, and he never forgot to sing at least one song for the Glory of God. Every time he practiced, he sang to Jesus and he especially liked to sing "Forever".
Every day, Adam took time out of his own schedule to sing to Jesus; he was not ashamed, nor was he shy. He knew that God had given him this gift, the gift of song. He planned to use it until he could no longer sing.
One evening, Adam was walking home from his local Church and he started to sing.
"I'll worship You my God. I'll worship You my God. I love You! I love You!"
The scattered leaves from the trees blew around Adam's feet.
"Forever I will sing. Forever I will be with You. Be with You."
The sunset seemed to stay where it was; it wasn't moving at all.
"I'll worship at Your Throne, whisper my own love song. With all my heart I'll sing, for You, my Dad and King."
He had reached his house and found his father sleeping soundly on the couch. He hummed the song as he climbed up the stairs and in to his bedroom. He continued humming as he slipped out of his clothes and in to his pajamas and he kissed the Image of The Divine Mercy.
"Good night, Jesus..." he sighed as he closed his eyes.
The next morning, Adam frantically ran towards his father who was eating...burnt toast.
"What is it, son?" his father asked.
All Adam did was point at his throat.
"Well, speak up! What is it?"
Adam tore a piece of his father's newspaper and scribbled something down. He then gave the note to his father as quickly as possible. His father examined it and his eyes widened.
"We've got to get you to a doctor."
The doctor examined Adam's throat closely.
"Try to say 'ahh' again..." the doctor said slowly.
Adam tried, but absolutely nothing came out. His voice seemed to have disappeared in the night, like a thief stole it.
"Well? Is my son going to get his voice back?" his father asked rather impatiently.
"Mr. Matthews...this is a very odd situation. We had never had a patient whose voice just...disappeared..."
Adam panicked. How would he be able to communicate, how would he be able to sing in the Church choir, how would he be able to sing to Jesus?!
"We will look deeper in to this. All I ask is that Adam drinks a lot of fluids and that he try clearing his throat. Maybe some sound will produce."
That night, Adam stared at the Image of Diving Mercy and he tried to sing.
Absolutely nothing. Not even a whisper.
He closed his eyes and smiled slowly as he sang in his head. He imagined his voice making it's way towards Jesus' ears and he imagined
Jesus smiling, extremely pleased.
While he sang in his head, Adam felt a warm finger touch his throat. He wanted to open his eyes, but he felt somebody covering his eyes.
No words were exchanged. Adam just sat there.
Then, he felt his eyes opening, almost all on it's own.
"Sing for Me, Adam."
The voice sounded like music coming from the most high quality headphones ever. It was so clear.
Adam opened his mouth, and heard a small squeak.
"Why are you afraid to sing when your voice has been given back to you?"
Adam stared at the Image and he began singing softly; "I'll live for all my days to put a smile on Your face. And when we finally meet, it'll be for eternity."
He gasped and touched his throat. His voice...it was back!
He stood and sang louder, "And oh! How wide You open up Your arms when I need Your love! And how far You would come, of ever I was lost! You say that all You feel for me is undying love, that You showed me through the Cross!"
He jumped around with great joy and then kneeled down towards the Image. He noticed Jesus making the sign of the Cross and smiling at him. Adam grabbed the image and kissed it tenderly.
"I've got to tell my dad! Thank You...Thank You so much!"
He set the Image down and sang all the way down the stairs.

Saved . . . . .
Maykala and Michael have been a couple since high school.
Even though they're not married, they live together in a apartment.
They are pretty lovey dovey to each other, but they used to fight a bit too much at time, to the point of getting on each others' throats.
They are also not religious. They both think that church and the stuff they teach is a waste of time.
At least until one day . . . . .

Maykala is at a hospital room, beside the beaten-up body of Michael, who is in a coma.
From what she heard, Michael was jumped in a alley by a bunch of punks. After they took his money, they deci

The voice of the Spirit
A professor once told my class, “What you say is not always what people hear” and I find that to be a fitting lesson for today's Gospel.
Jesus spoke plainly, but perhaps not in the manner some expected. Jesus spoke many times in veiled language and parables for a number of reasons, often occurring at the same time. Jesus spoke obscurely so those with closed hearts could not understand. He spoke like this because some who followed him were not yet ready to understand. Likewise, he spoke in this way so that those who believe in Him may understand who He truly is.
No one comes to the Father except to Christ. No one is drawn to Chri

His Divine Mercy
If a tree is known by its fruit, to what shall we compare the infinite mercies of God, a fruit of his great love? We know that “God is love” (1 John 4:8), and so where Love is the tree, mercy is the fruit. Mercy cannot come from anything else but a deep love.
There can be no other fitting witness and proof of God's mercy than being itself. Faustina recounts Him saying, “If I call creatures into being—that is the abyss of my mercy” (§86). God created man in order that he might love Him; God already loved us. Man, however, was seduced by the devil. He was made to believe that his love could be shared among God and

Holy crap! This reminded me of Owl City, the singer is Adam Young who sometimes makes songs dedicated to God. His songs aren't always directly God based, sometimes he sings uplifting songs and mysterious songs that does have Biblical values in them. The name Adam just reminded me of Owl City and even the first sentence says that he has the voice of an angel, it just struck me in awe.
