Her name was Wendina. She was known to be an outcast; a loser; a weirdo.

Wendina always wore a silver crucifix around her neck with a sapphire blue diamond in the middle. This alone subjected her to more name-calling and torture at school. Now she was known as "one of those insane preachers" that were seen along the road of the school.

Wendina eventually got tired of the name calling, the excessive bullying, and loneliness. So she talked to her best friend every night. Her best friend would hold her, kiss her, and tell her she was beautiful. Her best friend would listen to her, cry with her, and offer her advice. Her best friend promised her that he would never leave her, no matter what happened.

This gave Wendina strength to face every new day.

The more Wendina went to school, the bullying and name-calling increased randomly. Wendina tried her very best to ignore this, but she was sobbing violently in her heart.
'My dearest friend, please come to me and save me' she recited in her heart.
'Sweetheart most fair, be still. I am right beside you'
Wendina spun around but saw no one. She believed that he had played a cruel joke on her and this made her sob even more, for she felt that her best friend had become like everybody else.

When she came home from school, she set her backpack down and called for her one and only friend. He came at her window and smiled warmly at her.
"You are just like everybody else..." she said, clutching her hand.
Her friend's smile vanished and he embraced her.
"What makes you say that, sweetie..." he said, his voice vibrating against her body.
More tears flowed from her and she said, "You, my only friend, lied to me and told me that you were beside me, but I saw no one!"
He gently put his chin on her head and hushed her. This alone put her at ease and she relaxed.
"Wendina, I haven't lied to you. What I told you is the truth; I am always with you, even when you don't see me like you do now. Hey, come on... please don't cry..."
"How... how can that be...?" she asked, sobbing even more tears after his last statement.
He smiled at her and pointed at her heart.
"I live in you, precious. I reside in your heart, tasting the fruits of your kindness and gentleness towards others, even when they are mean to you. When your heart weeps, I weep with you, just like I do when you can see me. Even when things seem tough or impossible, I am right next to you. Never forget that."

The next day at school, a group of kids smacked Wendina's books from her arms.
"Oops!!!" one of them snickered at her.
Wendina groaned and leaned over to pick up her books. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder and a comforting whisper in her ear saying;
"I am with you. I love you."
The halls became silent and everybody around her became very still; as if time had frozen.
He appeared to her and held his arms out for her. His smile was tender and sincere. She ran in to his arms and held him tightly.
"I am with you..." he whispered as he stroked her head and kissed her smooth hair.
"Then stay with me... Jesus... my dearest friend...never leave me." she smiled as tears flowed from her eyes.
He chuckled and kissed her hand.
"Never. I promise."
I know that this isn't very good, but I just wrote what was in my heart for the moment.
I don't know if you guys are gonna like it, but if you do, then that shocks me and thank you!
