Literature Text
During art class, Cody and his classmates were assigned to draw somebody who inspired them. Cody thought of all the possibilities; his father, who was in the Army, his uncle, who was in the Navy, his mother, who took care of him and his younger brothers for what seemed like forever.
"Who are you drawing?" Matthew, Cody's friend, asked.
"I...I'm not sure..." Cody groaned, staring at his blank sheet of paper.
"Well, you'd better hurry up and think. The assignment is due at the end of the class." Matthew said, turning to his paper and scribbling away.
Everybody immediately picked up their pencils and started drawing who inspired them; everybody except Cody. The teacher came up to Cody and bent down.
"Do you need any help, Cody?" he asked.
Cody was immediately drawn to the crucifix that his teacher was wearing.
Jesus. He would draw Jesus.
"No, every thing is fine." Cody said as he turned to his paper.
"I'm gonna draw you, Jesus..." Cody whispered.
As Cody started drawing Jesus' head, he stopped.
'No...that's wrong.'
Cody erased frantically and tried again.
'Crud...no!'
Cody erased his paper so many times just because he felt like he couldn't draw Jesus' head. He felt a sort a presence behind him, so he froze.
"Keep going." a strong voice said.
Cody looked around, just to make sure if anybody else had heard the same voice he had. His classmates continued drawing; not one of them looked up.
"Keep going." the voice said again.
Cody sighed and slowly started drawing Jesus' head. It was perfect! Now, the eyes. Cody slowly started to draw the eyes, but one of them looked uneven...or, that's how he saw it.
As Cody reached for his eraser, he felt a hand on top of his.
"No. Don't erase." the voice said softly yet sternly.
Cody longed to just disobey this voice just once, but he couldn't move his left hand. The presence's hand was too strong; too firm on his own.
Cody continued drawing. Everything seemed to go just fine until he started drawing the hands. Jesus' left hand looked more like a claw in Cody's eyes, His beard seemed too fuzzy on the left side, His hair looked too poofy, everything just looked wrong.
Cody, in frustration, dropped his pencil and tried to keep his tears in. Why couldn't he draw Jesus!?
'Jesus, I can't do it! It looks horrible!' he shouted.
Cody felt a touch so warming that it gave him goosebumps.
"Keep going." the voice said loudly and clearly, gently and sternly, but ultimately, lovingly.
Cody picked up his pencil and continued to draw.
The bell rang and everybody handed their assignments to the teacher. Cody was the last one to stand and he slowly gave the teacher his assignment.
"Who did you draw, Cody?" the teacher asked, not even glancing at the drawing.
"...I drew Jesus." Cody said as he walked out of the classroom.
The teacher looked at Cody's drawing and saw that there were many scribbles and smudges. But the outcome looked very good. He glanced at the top of the paper and saw written many times in rich crimson; Keep Going.

Saved . . . . .
Maykala and Michael have been a couple since high school.
Even though they're not married, they live together in a apartment.
They are pretty lovey dovey to each other, but they used to fight a bit too much at time, to the point of getting on each others' throats.
They are also not religious. They both think that church and the stuff they teach is a waste of time.
At least until one day . . . . .
-------------------------
Maykala is at a hospital room, beside the beaten-up body of Michael, who is in a coma.
From what she heard, Michael was jumped in a alley by a bunch of punks. After they took his money, they deci

A Prayer
God, grant me wisdom
To see through Your eyes
God, grant me wisdom
To fight Satan's lies
God, grant me wisdom
To live every day
As though Your returning
Were moments away.
God grant me courage
To seal not my lips
God grant me courage
Help keep me equipped
God grant me courage
To hide not my light
To shine with Your glory
And fight the good fight.
God grant me refuge
When evil assails me
God grant me refuge
When I come to calamity
God grant me refuge
A place of His rest
A haven of safety
When I am oppressed
God grant me hunger
For more of Your truth
God grant me hunger
Though I'm but a youth
God grant me hunger
A yearning for You
A thirst

You are Mine
All I know
is I am worthless,
I am nothing.
Nothing to give,
nothing to bring;
only a burden,
trouble and pain.
You say,
"I know."
And words fail
because you know
but you don't care,
and run to meet me
where my feet falter;
and your arms fall round me,
I feel your tears on my face,
and nothing else matters
except your words:
"You are mine."
